New items in the Stardesign interior

There's three new design patterns in the Stardesign Interior; two frames and a television set. I personally don't really design much stuff in the Interior Design, or in the normal Stardesign, but for people who like to make their suites look really nice, this is a very good idea. I like the idea of the TV set, because I know that some users will make some amazing likenesses of TV shows.

New design studio!!

Stardolls upgraded the design studio again!!
I'm not sure if this is just for valentines day.
But I hope they'll keep it :]

I like it better than the last time they changed it.
The changed the trash can, and the doll on the start sketch pad. Its so much cuter!!

They also changed the " add a print " tab. Is it just me or were the prints $5 sds before not $2??

Final Moodiwear designs Released

It's the seventh and final week of the moodiwear design competition, so the last four designs have been released. There is a sweater, a big buckled belt, some high waisted shorts and a top with ruched sleeves. The theme this week is 'Loved Up'

The big belt is really nice, but it's quite small so would need to be worn at the waist for it to look correct. The sweater is quite long and I like the wrapped look at the neck of it. The short-sleeved top is also cute, but I think it looks like it has slashed sleeves on the pattern. I don't really like the shorts, I think they're too long and I don't like the roll-ups at the bottom.

More Moodiwear Designs

It's week 6 of the moodiwear competition, so it's almost over, as this competition lasts 7 weeks. This means 4 more cheap designs for non-superstars to create. Luckily there's a simple emotion this week, it's just happy, not like the previous emotions such as confused (week 3) and angry (week 4).

I think stardoll are running out of designs, as the clothes are getting less and less well-designed as the weeks are progressing. This week there is a short crop-top, which I guess could be used as an undertop, but the straps are a bit annoying as they don't change pattern and stay a silvery-grey colour. Also, there's a cute pair of short heeled boots to design, but to me they seem to be a weird shape. There's a little bag with a chain handle to make too, but I have to say that I don't really like this designa as much as the bag in a previous week, as this one is slightly too small and I'm not a fan of the shape. Finally there's a dress, which is sort of tucked in at the top and draped around the rest, It's quite cute but I do prefer other dress designs in other weeks.

Even more new moodiwear designs

Once again, as it's week 5 of the Childline comp there are new designs in the stardesign. The mood this week is 'excited'. If you don't understand, go to THIS link.

There is a gorgeous draped top which looks really expensive and beautiful when you make it, so I love that. I also like the shoes, although they're just a plain court shoe, it's useful to be able to make shoes in the stardesign, as I don't remember being able to before now. I don't really like the little shrug jacket, to me it doesn't seem a nice shape. I'm not really sure about the dress; when you make it, it makes the material go shiny, which could look great, but I'm not sure.

How are you going to make an 'excited' design? Do you like these designs?

More new moodiwear designs

Once again, as it's the 3rd week of the Childline comp and this means that there are new designs in the stardesign. The mood this week is 'confused'. If you don't understand, go to THIS link.

There are two diferent styles of skirt, a cute bubble skirt design and a geometric pencil skirt. There is also a big bag and a corset-style top. I love the bag, as it is a great style and you can make it any colour or pattern you want. I also like the bubble skirt, because it's a timeless classic and it will look great in lots of outfits.

New bauble design in stardesign

Go to the stardesigner interior and you can design your own bauble to buy. It costs 3sd which is more than the normal stardoll ones, but the same price as the Voile Holiday Store one. The great thing is that it is for non-ss too, so you can make your Christmas tree perfectly co-ordinated and get it the way you want it.

It's a simple design, but looks great when you have lots of them. If you're good at the stardesign you could probably make faces on them. The only downside is that compared to the other things to buy in the stardesign, it is quite small, so you can't really make anything to complicated on there.

Design Contest

There is a new design contest on stardoll. After the Migliukee controversy you would think stardoll wouldn't be letting any users design clothes for them, but seemingly not.

Entrants need to design two outfits, one being a jumpsuit and the other being anything you want. The winner will win 400sd, be a member of the exclusive Stardoll Royalty club and their designs will be avalable to buy in the starplaza.

Unfortuantely, only superstars can enter which in my opinion is unfair as they might be really good designers, but can't buy superstar.

New moodiwear designs

As it's the second week of the Moodiwear design competition on Stardoll, there are 4 new designs in the Stardesign.

There is a leotard-type outfit, on the pattern you can see lots of buttons or studs, but when you make it, they disappear. There is also a cute frilly top, which I like the design of and two pairs of trousers. The both of which are balloon style. I personally don't like them, but they may work in certain outfits.

New Childline competition

If you look in the stardesign, you will see that there is a new shop, called "Moodi Wear - Stardesign".

I think this new shop is part of a campaign from Childline to make it wasier for kids to show how they're feeling. In the stardesign, there are four different styles of clothes, a longer sweater, a one sleeved dress, a strapless babydoll dress and a gathered asymetrical dress.

This is part of a 7 week-long competition, with each week being a different emotion, and what is meant to happen is that each week, people will design clothes for the different emotion, and if you win, people will be able to buy it in the starplaza

The styles are cute, and the reason behind this is great. Also, the prize is amazing. So what are you waiting for? Get over to the stardesign now!

Overused style?

Have you noticed this dress recently on stardoll? That's probably because there are three places you can get it; two shops and in the stardesign.

This babydoll style, with a big, ruffled skirt is an adorable style, but stardoll seems to have taken it too far and created three different patterns of it.

However all three are only for superstars. The cheapest is a plain black one by Bisou, but it is is still expensive at 13sd. The next on is more expensive by 1sd, at 14sd, but as it's in the Stardesign, you can have it in any colour or pattern you want. The Miss Sixty one is the most expensive, a huge 22sd, but it has a beautiful pattern and looks slightly different to the other two.

Non-Superstar Designs

Stardoll has released two designs for non-superstars in the stardesign feature. They are a dress and a blazer. I'm not sure if this is a glitch or not so non-superstars get designing quick! The dress is cute, despite the pattern. The blazer's ok, but the shape isn't quite as fitted as I think it should be. Both are for 6sd so I'd go and get them quickly.
